Shayna Carolyn was born and raised in Los Angeles, California.

In 2009 she moved to San Francisco to study painting and drawing at San Francisco State University. After receiving a Bachelor's degree in Studio Art, she relocated to Montreal, Quebec in 2013. In 2021 she became a Permanent Resident of Canada.

 

Blending realism and expressionism, Shayna's work ranges from highly detailed graphite portraits to impressionist watercolor landscapes & abstract expression paintings.

Since 2013, Shayna has worked as a freelance artist, curator, event coordinator, illustrator, and designer. She has organized and participated in a variety of group art exhibitions within her local communities. She is currently working on her next exhibition.
